On analog instruments and regional rail architecture

Most of my clearest ideas arrive between train connections or during early morning walks in unfamiliar neighborhoods. When designing physical objects or pondering digital interfaces, returning to heavy-weight paper and mechanical pencils offers an essential grounding that screen-bound work rarely provides.

The architecture of regional rail stations reveals much about a region's priorities. Slow transit encourages observation, patience, and an acceptance of unhurried timelines that inevitably bleed back into how I approach long-term design commissions.
